El Médano Beach

Non stop fun and all day happy hours? You are not dreaming. You can find this at El Médano (the dune) beach. Here you will experience Cabo’s legendary beach culture. The wide beach is lined with beach clubs and restaurants including The Office, Mango Deck, Billigan’s Island, and Las Palmas. You can play beach volleyball, rent kayaks, Jet Skis, Sea Doos, and boogie boards. This is an ideal beach for swimming year round, with little surf.

El Médando stretchs for two miles, from the Hotel Hacienda to the Villa del Palmar, with a nice view of El Arco. To visit the famous arch, you can rent a panga from El Médano beach.

Playa Solmar, at the base of El Pedregal, is great for sunset watching, bad for swimming. Enjoy whale watching from shore, January through March.

Lovers Beach

The name says it all. Located next to El Arco, Lovers Beach is a seclued patch of sand, that is, until the next vistors come along. You can go by panga from El Médano beach. They will drop you off and pick you up a few hours later.
