The facilities are absolutely beautiful. Room and facility decor are inspired. So is the price. My husband and I experienced food poisoning the first meal of the first night. The Italian buffet food looked as though it had been sitting out for hours. We were in a bind for a meal and tried to choose wisely. Obviously we didn't.The crowd is international and the help is Mexican. Great for atmosphere but heck on communication. There were 18 people on the wait staff the night we were there. Not one had a basic knowledge of english. After a long argument with the head chef we finally had the meal charge removed. We spent $425 per night on the room. And we spent most of it in the bathrooms. We travel every 2-3 weeks during the winter months and have a feel for quality and class accomodations. We would definately NOT visit Villa del Arco again. BEWARE of the Fractional Purchase(time share) sales people. They are very agressive and will tie you up for hours and insist you sign right now, before you leave the room.
One more thing. You might wnat to bring your own toilet paper. The management only allows one roll per unit per day.

Cabo San Super!

Just returned from a week stay at the Villa Del Arco in Cabos. An absolutely beautiful resort with all the amenities, including full kitchens with washer and dryer. The staff was most helpful and the amount of beach activity was endless. Located on gorgeous medano beach overlooking the arch and lovers beach, the view was breath taking. A great trip for all ages.(We took our 9 and 10 yr old) You will not be disappointed with the food at the resort either. And with the full kithchens and close market you can eat in as much as you'd like also. Been all around Mexico, however this is where we will return for the years to come. Villa Del Arco still under construction, however did not interfere with our wonderful stay. Can't wait to return and use all the finished amenities. Muy Bueno!!!

Gorgeous resort, but still under construction. Beware of noise until March 2007.
